so I'm low key torn on dudes like Udonis Haslem, Jamal Crawford and to lesser extents Pau Gasol and Vince Carter...I'm glad that teams still value their contributions but at this point I'm like they are nothing more than additional coaches who can get onto the court every now and than...I know it's got to be some young hungry cats out there who can beat them for their position but at the same time having that locker room influence does help....So I'm like get your checks breh's but at the same time these dudes are really just additional coaches.

I’m still convinced he’ll join the Clippers cause I can’t imagine him being the kind to take the easy way out.

KD is my favourite player and I still admit him joining the 73 win GSW that eliminated him was the biggest bytch move in NBA history. But in GS only him and Steph were legitimate top 5 players. Klay was at best a top 15-20 player. You could make a legitimate argument that Kawhi, Lebron & AD are the 3 very best players in the league (at worst top 7).

What would separate them from previous super teams is their size (pause :dame:). AD is 6’10, Lebron 6’8, Kawhi 6’7 and all of them are built, unless Giannis, George & Gobert get together there’s no way you could stop them.

Plus, why would Kawhi want to boost Lebron’s legacy when he has an opportunity to win the most rings out of any player this era (Steph & Lebron on 3, KD & Kawhi on 2).

We could get competitive balance back or once again the league would be so predictable.

I agree because it’s not necessary. KD left because he couldn’t win with Westbrook and knew Warriors had the conference on lock.

Lebron left because he knew he couldn’t get nikkas to play in one of the worst cities of America in their prime years.

Kawhi leaving one of the most multicultural cities in North America where he is a god and won NBA Finals MVP to play third fiddle to a dying organization until the Buss family sell

So ignore impact, team success, on/off, and efficiency then

:whoa:

not knocking curry

but what was his impact & how was his efficiency without KD in da finals

like real talk if you removed Curry from GSW & Kawhi from TOR

9 times outta 10 people would’ve taken GSW over TOR

1 old nikka. 1 injury prone nikka. 1 nikka with a degenerative knee condition. And like 10 minimum contracts.

Oh yeah and Kuzma I guess. Regardless, shut the fukk up. They gutted a team that didn’t even make the playoffs. Like y’all are being beyond disingenuous with these comparisons now
