I have questions about assignment of blame btwn Andy Reid & Mike Vick.

You know how Peyton Manning does HIS OWN play calling? If the head coach talks into the mike and Peyton hears it thru the speaker inside his helmet BUT DISLIKES THE CALL, then Peyton Manning does NOT relay that call to the guys in the huddle.
--He tells them to do something different.
--He yells different audibles than the head coach dictated.


Does Vick do that sort of thing? How often (in your estimation / from your observations)? The process goes as follows.
a. Andy Reid dictates a stupid play into the microphone.
b. Vick hears it via the helmet speaker, BUT DISLIKES THE CALL.
c. In the huddle, Vick tells the offense to do something different than Andy Reid suggested.
d. Vick call different audibles than Andy Reid suggested.
Does that whole process happen much? With a $100mm contract, someone in the organization trusts Vick's discretion, right?

--Cuz Vick says everything that needs saying in the huddle?
--Cuz he scrambles and makes shyt up on the fly?
--Cuz Mike Vick stares down his designated receiver (signals via EYE contact instead of verbal orders)?

Basically Andy and Marty got Vick on some puppet ish. He must stay in the pocket do all his reads and if nothing is there then he runs. Basically trying to make him a pocket passer. The Old Vick did a few reads but if the hole opened up he would run. They seem to have taken that away from him. The problem is this line is not that great so Vick needs to be able to run if the hole is there but they again are telling him to only pass. So no he doesn't change plays like Peyton does but that's a bad comparison because Peyton is the Offensive C. even if someone else is calling the plays. Not many QB's have that kinda of power cause Peyton can read a D right from the line. The problem is the O-line and the lack of running game in the playcalling. Yes Turnovers are an issue also but a lot of the turnovers happen cause we were passing the ball to much. So most of the blame falls on Andy and Marty's playcalling more than Vick to me. Despite this The Eagles are #5 in total offense in the NFL so we haven't even reached our full potential cause of the turnovers.
