Like players in later rounds cant become something after basically 1 red shirt year. Like we didnt have evans and mcdougle both go down to injury immediately. Like we didnt have rex playing pryor out of position all year.

IK may pan out, but that doesn't change the whiff that was that draft.
Drafts arent considered failures based off one year except by hack beat writers,talk show/radio hosts and the people that eat that stuff up.

I didn't necessarily mind the Pryor and especially the Amaro picks, but for a team that needed depth, they didn't capitalize very well on it, especially when they were cutting guys like Saunders and George (the fact that they couldn't lock down one receiver worth a shyt is what makes it look bad)
If anything you can now make the argument that Idzik's first draft was worse, in light of what's going on with Sheldon
Which QB did we miss out on because of Idzik? Bridgewater?

Breh, NOBODY is talking about the Jets and a Superbowl, and even if they drafted that guy last year or the year before, they'd still suck. It's not just the QB that sucked here.
If Idzik signs Revis and drafts Martavis Bryant last year...the Jets win at best 7 games and you'd still be crying.
It doesnt matter who the GM is, the NFL is strictly built around finding a QB. If you dont have a QB you cannot win.

If Idzik had Andrew Luck or Russell Wilson we'd still have a crap O-Line, crap weapons, shytty secondary and slow ass David Harris. He woulda lost here too (he woulda been far from the problem no doubt, but we'd still be as mediocre as we are now) Point is you have to give whoever your QB is SOMETHING to go forward with as opposed to wasting everyone's time early on. What did you want the old and new regimes to do? Sell every pick because we don't have Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Brees, Roethlisberger or Wilson?
The Seahawks and Colts both have crap olines and crap weapons.
