Yea ZaZa is not working. He was pretty much garbage for the majority of the last season in Dallas and looks the same. He can't catch or pass like Bogut. No rim protection or solid rebounding(I mean last night even dudes like Young were getting putbacks) Kerr already benching him too and sliding Dray to the 5

The Spurs and believe it or not, the Clippers might have a shot now that the Warriors interior is so putrid. These dudes are getting absolutely crushed in the paint right now, last year they were +2.3 on the glass, they are -3.1 and Zaza ain't changing that. Unless another Hassan Whiteside just falls out the NBDL and into their lap they have some serious issues on the boards & in the interior that I can't see going away.

:patrice:Dat 3 is da great equalizer tho. Do you think dey can survive without real paint protection against physical teams like dat during da playoffs?

The Cavs are a smallball team :ld: they were actually smaller than the Warriors last year and with the loss of Mozgov they're even smaller this year. Right now the Warriors don't have a center that can defend and it puts a huge strain on Green to cover for everyone else.

Nah, the difference in centers this year and last is huge, last year when Bogut didn't play they still had Ezeli, those two held opponents to 45% and 44% at the rim, even Speights was decent at 49%. The league leader last year was Gobert at 41%, Bogut was an elite defender last year, and Ezeli was good as well. This year Green is still elite holding opponents to 43%, but the problem is Zaza....teams are shooting 61% at the rim vs him, and the supposed big signing of JaVale McGee like @G.O.A.T Squad Spokesman is giving up 75% :scust:

They have a huge problem with their centers, they went from having an excellent defensive rotation of bigs, to having just one undersized PF who is elite but cannot make up for having a sieve next to him.
They giving up crazy offensive rebounds also

:scust:

It is the great equalizer, but there's only 1 ball and they are tied for last in the league right now in giving up offensive rebounds, you cannot win with the current big man rotation they have. Maybe they'll give Damian Jones some minutes, I mean he can't be any worse than Zaza.

They have a glaring weakness, kind of like what the Heat had in their first season together.

Bogut ( his screens are missed)
Ezeli
Speights ( who would come off the bench with energy and hit shots as a big man that could shoot)

Barbosa ( would come off the bench and ball for limited minutes with mad energy)

All the guys were good defenders.

Also With Durant the ball doesn't move the same way it did last couple years.

They tried to improve something that was optimal.

That bench would just overwhelm the opp 2nd unit and the game was already done mid 2nd q

I'm noticing a pattern here. :jbhmm:

Golden State loses: "They have no bench, no size, there bigs suck, they don't play defense, X team is gonna destroy the inside"

Golden State wins: "KDs a bytch, they're supposed to win they have 2 MVPs, this team is so stacked man, the regular season is ruined!"

:jbhmm:
This is true. For the record I have consistently shyt on the warriors as an over hyped, one trick pony.

If their shooting isn't off the charts, they're food for bullies.
Some people crowned them by comparing them with all-time great teams of the past.
Imagine what Rodman and the Bulls would do on boards against them:wow:
