Resident Evil 6 Review for Xbox 360 - Cheat Code Central

I really think RE is a victim of the Illmatic syndrome, no matter how many dope LPs Nas drops people will always complain about it not being illmatic. (Lyrics aside ...substance wise Illmatic is probably his weakest LP....still a classic tho)

the nikka is almost 40 and not 18 anymore, why nikkas get mad at growth and evolution?

Likewise the same applies to RE.

Pefect example is these series of videos on Capcom's horror games, if u watch all parts of these videos you'll notice that they actually complained about the first 3 resident evils and its sequels on DC, PS2 and Gamecube, stating that they were good games but stale

u switch up and the same nikkas want the shyt they complained about back :why:

nikkas on some Common I used to love her tip instead of just enjoying what's in front of u now. Imagine 6 resident evil cannon games that all played like the first one :scusthov:

There's a difference between evolving, and just becoming a carbon copy of other games that are already out there:aicmon:

Re series was built around horror, this theme is all but gone from the series,
I know a lot of people hated dead space 2 but IMO its a perfect example that you can have an action game while keeping the original horror theme.not as jump at you scary, but it was still dark and creepy.

Re4 at least kept this theme going( dark and creepy)
Re5 took place entirely in daylight:dwillhuh: then when it does turn night, it only for a rail shooter part:upsetfavre:

Playing the demo, I was able to kick my way through all enemy's
They need to make it where you have to stay away from enemy's or get your ass surrounded and killed( that's what would really happen if you tried to Rambo your way through hoards of zombies)

And fukk all this broken into pieces campaign mode, just give me a 15 hour streamlined story mode

And instead of creating all these new ways to kill zombies and making it look like the movies, they need to concentrate on making to controls more about avoiding conflicts and being stealthy, make it so you gotta be smart about taking on a hoard of monsters, setting traps etc.

And then people would still complain about something. People wanted RE4 back in the day to stick to the same formula, but be different. People always complain if something ain't the way they like like

What you described sounds like COD zombie mode when you get farther, but the thing is, Resident Evil has never been that, it's been you go to an area and there are either a couple of zombies you gotta throw in the bushes, look for that war eagle emblem that's trapped behind some fire, solve a puzzle to get the piece, put in the fireplace to open the secret door to get to the boss fight.

I've been playing RE since the first one, people want it to go back to the Isometric camera and the goofy ass mechanics that they had.

All RE needed was to fix the camera system and let you walk while shooting, that's it. I can't fault Capcom for trying something new, they wanted to evolve their shyt, they were gonna get complaints from either keeping it the same or from trying some new shyt. They were in a no win situation. They tried to bring elements from all of the games into this one, but we'll see what happens tomorrow.

I'll give it a shot cuz if the game is fun, that's all that matters really.

And that was a "con/negative" to them :wtf:

Resident Evil 6 Review - IGN Review - YouTube

I seriously think cats would give the game a 10/10 if the entire game centered around a small ass mansion and slow ass zombies tho

Same cats complained about the same shyt for RE5 and I enjoyed that also (I honestly felt like RE5 was better than RE4....but RE4 was slower and had much less action so I guess its the better game :ehh:). Too much action should never be a negative, if I want slow paced ass Resident Evil then I'll play the Gamecube remake.

It's all about evolution, if they kept making the same game since 96' these same nikkas would be complaining about it

Game looks dope, copping tomorrow

Lol resident evil 5 was not better than 4.

I've played all the resident evils too and your wrong breh, before re 4 it was about saving your ammo and avoiding needless combat, who the fukk said they should go back to tank controls and bad camera?

Like you said, the CONTROLS are the only thing people complained about. When they fixed that people were happy, who doesn't agree that re4 is one of the greatest? But they had to take it further, they had to turn it into a entirely different game, a third person point a to point b shooter

What I described is not cod zombie mode, your full of shyt,

I hate when nikkas come to defend theses game and say shyt like "you just want them to go back to tank controls and dull gameplay" who the fukk really wants that?

What I said is that they need to go back to their horror roots,(while keeping the controls and gameplay) I even used dead space 2 as an example:dwillhuh: how the fukk did you get that outta my reply?

Let me be clearer for you breh, THEY CAN KEEP THE NEW CONTROLS AND GAMEPLAY BUT CHANGE THE WAY YOU APPROACH SITUATIONS.

Get back to survival horror, even if its not the same as the earlier titles in the series, horror and survival should be the common theme of these games.

Instead of playing like gears of war where I can body slam anything in my way cause I'm a super hero, be more realistic with the situation. All that rolling on the ground and sliding between legs and climbing shyt is fine and dandy, but that shyt should be used to AVOID monsters, not take them on 2 against 1000.

shyt these monsters should be terrified of Chris the way this game plays

How am I full of shyt, I get what you're saying but it's whatever.

I ain't saying that's what you want, I'm saying that's what the majority want. I get you on the survival horror part, I want the same, but I ain't going outta my way to bash it cuz it doesn't do that, and I'm not saying that you're bashing it. You could do all the acrobatic shyt to get away, you aint gotta sit there and fight 'em. I used the Zombie mode as an example with how you could set up traps to take a horde of zombies out. nikkas want the Walking Dead with RE's controls

And some nikkas still bash 4 cuz it ain't like 1-3.

Your full of shyt cause that is NOT what the majority of people want, they just want a resident evil game and re 4 was the last to feel like a re game, these new ones feel more like spin offs

And the people that bash 4 are a very small minority group of people that want that old shyt, they don't rep how the majority of gamers feel

And by traps I don't mean flip the switch and kill the zombies with random traps around levels, I mean shyt like creating movotav cocktails and barricading doors,

You can't just run from them cause the game was designed for you to mow them down, your character is just way overpowered

And the game is already like walking dead but with gears of war controls and gameplay.

And i am going to bash this game for not being a horror game cause that's what this series was about

Imagin if instead of fixing what gamers don't like about silent hill, they just make a game that strangely felt like max Payne 3 but with monsters. Completely devoid of any of the horror themes that defined the series from the beginning.

It's all about evolving YOUR game not just recreating what worked in other games that had nothing to do with the series.

It's whatever, the game still has survival horror in it, they just wanna add action to that.Just cuz the whole damn game aint that don't mean the game is gonna be trash, but it's whatever, some will complain about it and some will give it a shot and go from there.

I can't fault you for being mad, but it is what it is.

And I can't fault you for giving it a shot, but I personally feel that capcom needs this to flop in order to get back on track, and realize coping popular games is not the best way to evolve one of your biggest series

We agree to disagree lol.

If they toned down the over the topness a bit and brought some stuff back from the old games, the franchise could go to the next level.

Resi 7 like Resi 4 would be pretty nice though

Dead Space 2 was a great fukking game and excellent sequel...anybody hating on it is just a fukking troll. :pacspit:

It gets hated on for being an action game, but its still a scary ass action game and I'm ok with that.

Living proof that a resident evil game with today's style but the classic substance can in fact work
