Happy people do not use drugs.
Unhappy people use drugs to become happy (temporarily).

Once they can attain happiness through other means they cut out the drugs... if they are able.
Drugs have the added complication of physical addiction. So its a more complex matter.

It's about PRINCIPLE. And this is no disrespect to those who DO drink or smoke but if you love by the principle that it's not something you yourself choose to indulge in then you should stick by it and fukk anybody who wants to tell you differently.

There are PLENTY of women in the world who don't smoke or drink. Or if they drink it's in moderation so it's not a problem. I wouldn't date a woman who smokes PERIOD but I'd date a woman who drinks in moderation

Using ceremonial communion wine in an argument towards alcohol dependency is terribly loose footing. People also cook with wine.
There is alcohol and/or ethanol in numerous products.
There is formaldehyde and rubber in your chewing gum, but it is not in the same quantity or chemical ratio, so it doesn't carry the same adverse health effects. In ceremonial wines the proof is not equivalent to alcohols intended to inebriate. Nor is the consumption amount sufficient to provide any effect whatsoever on impairment. Its mostly just natural fruit, fermented. Sometimes its not even fermented from what I understand.

But bringing up hand sanitizers cause they contain alcohol is not a strong point when discussing alcoholism.

You are conflating many things improperly.
In Rastafarianism, weed is used in the same way a non-rasta uses it. To get high.

A person cooking with alcohol, taking a mouthful for a ceremony, or using it to sterilize a wound is not using it akin to a person that consumes large amounts to get drunk.

Drug addicts love to explain away their dependencies, so I won't bother pressing it.
But there is a reason the first step is admitting you have a problem... because for many that is the hardest.
