If your desk don't have two monitors you a failure in the corporate world

Some of y'all in here have two monitors but:

...you're chained to your cubicle,
...have a one hour lunch,
...in a dead end role,
...you're not in corporate, not even in a national role
...you'll never be promoted,
...you're stuck with 3% cost of living increase if you're lucky,
...you're always a RIF away from losing everything,
...and you're too much of a bytch to leave because of the sunken costs theory "I have too much to lose" nikka you ain't got shyt to lose, you don't make no got damn money...you'd have to work for 10 years to match the SVP's Yearly BONUS...you have no equity, you ain't got shyt.

...you have jack shyt to brag about. I have no beef with @skeetsinternal but this is low caliber call center level flex.

How many emails/TEAMS meetings/video conferences you doing in a day to have a screen dedicated solely to that. Our CEO has one monitor..... Our CFO has one monitor..... I’m sure you can find a use for 3 monitors, but it seems like it would be overkill for most people

Some days it's a lot of emails. But u right I dont actually need it but work is definitely smoother with it. My directors office.looks minority report but he still types with index fingers only one tap at a time lol.

It seems like overkill until u have it. Over time u get used to it. Then when u see someone with less monitors u wonder how they do it.

Like when u get a big 70 in screen, u get used to it. Then u go to your boys place and he bragging about the 55 for superbowl....oh

crazy as a standard it sounds i actually agree
I already had dual monitors but I knew I had to leave my last job when the guy above us ordered brand new state of the art monitors for every one on my "team" except me. including the guy who sat right next to me
they tried to spin it as spur of the moment office purchase and eventually I got upgraded to the same level monitors but i knew at that point they didn't really respect my contributions

Why do y'all need two monitors for??? if you arent using certain programs that need them your wasting time...

My productivity shoots through the roof when I started using 2 monitors. Three if you count the laptop.

1. There's always shyt you gotta check and re-check so having things up at a glance is just faster.
2. If you game is always good to have monitor two to check things while you play.
3. On weekends I have my sports on the big screen and whatever else I'm doing on screen 2.

I’m a failure. Have the 32 inch 4K and the pro 16 inch which sucks IMO.

Got the 2 big screens at work though.

That's the wave and I got multiple monitors.

One long wide screen would reduce all the wires and hdmi inputs and clutter.

Do I need it? Nah 3 covers everything

Do I want it? Hell yes

Facts. If my company didn't give me a 2nd monitor, I'd buy one with my own money. I am 1000% more productive and efficient with multiple monitors. It's a chore to use only 1. I hate it
