You talking to a person that essentially thinks they can probably fall between the cracks. I might not get it and if I do get it then it probably won't be bad.
On one hand we have an unknown that has actual evidence it can lead to a really bad outcome in COVID. On the other hand we have an unknown, the vaccine, with actual evidence in the short term it can mostly prevent a really bad outcome but the long term effects aren't known. There's no reason to believe that long term there will be issues but you still don't know.
How anybody can look at the possible effects of the vaccine and the possible effects of COVID and say I'll take my chances on COVID is beyond me. Really it's probably because they aren't actively making that decision it's just the defacto choice they make through their actions. Kinda like when a man fukks a woman and he didn't actively decide he was ready to be a father but 9 months later he's a dad anyway.
