That's the part that bothers me; Blacks are mad that he was telling the truth to us, in our own community. He didn't go out to where whites lived and spoke about Blacks to a white audience. In terms of the rape allegations, I don't know either way; very few people do, the issue is why so many, why now? What does he possess that is so valuable that they are willing to threaten him with prison for the rest of his natural life. Was he using that as collateral in order to own something more valuable? Kind of like how Michael Jackson owned half of Sony's publishing, and the Beatles catalogs.
