If you think about it a bit, why is Nastradamas considered a "wack album"?

Both singles were wack. "you owe me" saved the album sales though. the radio and clubs were loving it. According to Nas, he recorded "you owe me" because he found the album too dark after finishing it. So he decided to put a light song for the clubs on the lp in the last minute. Not very artistically bold move.

Am I the only one who liked "big girl"?

Yeah Big Girl was all right. I liked it.

Nastradamus was in no way a wack album but it is by far Nas weakest effort. Mostly due to the rushed nature of the project, but there are way too many gems on that to be called wack hell compared to most rappers albums it blows them away.

This isn't hard to believe. IMO, Nastradamus and Stillmatic are Nas' hoodest/darkest albums.

Besides "you owe me", "big girl", title track, and "new world", Nastradamus is very dark even with Nas in the hoodie on the cover. I Am... from the same year is the better, yet more commercial friendly album.

just think about the strong tracks on the song... seriously... if he would have released like mentioned earlier "Come n get me" as the first single, then "Project windows", "God loves us" and "Family" as singles, then we'd be talking about a whole different point of view right here... as a matter a fact, i think it was the singles that were released that got people thinking or brainwashed that the album is "wack"

Stop it, this album was super wack, the intro, the outro, the esco outfits they were rocking in the booklet, life we choose beat was so light in the ass, its crazy, the primo joint was weak, this is when premier started wildin with all those lame sound effects, the hydro drops skit, the wack keyboard strings on that mobb joint, I hate that beat...dame grease didnt bring no heat to the table.

Quiet nikkas...fukk it, ill stop there

Ive seen stans trying to say it wasnt that bad, and now yall saying it was good?

This album is the reason why take over hit so hard.

Smh @ lake and nas looking like a bunch of post apocalyptic homo thugs in the video.

Almost everything about this album was just smh

Nastradamus was Nas at 6/10 and was still better than 75% of the game them and 90% now.
