This is unwise advise and how men get taken advantage off, you don't have a right to be baby sat and coddled like a toddler especially when its not someone that's interested in you in any genuine way, it sounds like pandering and boot licking in hope of getting a womans affection one day, no sane adult man should willingly go along with that, that is different than if you are platonic friends and you have no interest in any relationship then helping out and being a listening ear is fine, but if its anything you want to be intimate then that this is a bad idea.
