That Tove Lo song is a rarety on pop radio. :dead:Its like the opposite. 10% of the songs are like that on pop mainstream, meanwhile 90% of the songs are like that on urban mainstream. Its not even close dawg. And when's the last time MGK or Mac Miller got mainstream play? Last time i heard Mac on the radio he was rapping about love.

Songs like that aren't a rarity. Look at Maroon 5's "Sugar". I don't see the difference between Eric Church's "Wrecking Ball" and the typical Trey Songz record lyrically. These songs are hits.

MGK nor Mac Miller are black, but make still make the destructive music that you are accusing black artists of making. All of Mac Miller's singles from his latest project have drug references.

Talib (especially early on) would try to stuff a little too many words into his bard sometimes, but I really don't see a ton of similarities between his flows and cadences and Eminem's. There are definitely some raps where I don't think Talib has the smoothest flow, but his voice is pretty smooth so I think a lot of times it doesn't stick out as much.

Subject matter aside, Talib Kweli tries to cram as many words in every bar as possible too. I constantly see cats saying this about Em. You hate Em, you should hate how Talib raps too

These threads are unnecessary.

The vast majority of hip-hop fans, critics and artists think Em is one of the GOATs.

Every rap legend and new rap artist has glowing words of praise for Em.

Multiple albums of his make every "best rap albums of all time list," and even "best albums of all time list."

Unfortunately, this board is mostly comprised of drooling retards and unfunny trolling dikkheads who rage against white people for perceived racism while being - ironically - incredibly racist, as well as sexist and homophobic.

In this very thread, people are trying to say Eminem "has no substance," when he's made dozens - if not hundreds - of songs detailing his entire life. His upbringing, his family, the death of his friends, storytelling songs about relationships, and fame, his relationship with his mother, REPAIRRING the relationship with his mother. He's literally put his entire life on wax. Everybody here could virtually tell his biography. You know more about Eminem's life than most rappers. But he has "no substance?"

The same people who say Eminem has no substance listen to rappers who rap about selling drugs on the street and murdering imaginary people and partying in the club 99% of the time.

How can you make a Kweli and Em comparison and say "subject matter aside?" When their fanbases love them more for their content than rap styles.
