Yeah people are talking about "ever shoot with a softball" their hands aren't THAT big. It would be like shooting with a slightly smaller basketball,maybe a soccer ball

When you're not used to shooting at all you have no shooting mechanics. You're not used to shooting the ball in that motion. Its why most great jump shooters are also great free throw shooters. You're freethrow is your jumpshot form. Not used to shooting jumpers makes shooting fts harder
