Folks be so bougie nowadays. There’s a time and place for everything. You look like a bougie goofy eating salmon at Hooters or some newish bar in some not that nice shopping center that too many black folks act like is fine dining. Y’all look just as dumb as those people wearing ill fitting suits to a job interview for some $13 an hour warehouse shyt. Okay, if you going to Morton’s or Ruth Chris ordering chicken tenders you a clown. But people be bougie and not even look high class doing it. Everyone is negropean now. It only bothers me in a professional settings. If we are having a business dinner with a potential client and you order kids menu items. That shyt is embarrassing. Fact is certain palates are considered more cultured than others. We aren't there to satisfy our hunger but to present a certain image. you need to be a little bougie in certain circles. People have their personal taste. but quality is a fact, and not be able to appreciate the difference in quality between good cut of steak and a ground beef hamburger makes you look like you probably don't know quality in other domains

I noticed my cousin for years that everytime we go out to eat this guy always gets childish ass meals like chicken fingers, alphabet soup one time or basic ass bar food (wings, pizza, burgers, beer). I never seen my dude with some shyt like this
