I remember as a kid we found a wallet in the middle of the road that had some playboy pics in it. We passed that joker around like Bart and Milhouse did that comic book on the Simpsons.

Then my pops found it. I remember him starting at it hard before throwing it in the trash

I posted about this before....

This happened to me when I was in Amsterdam.....I was walking a dude on a bike dropped his wallet literally right in front of me and a couple of people saw so I instinctively picked it up and ran after him but he had his head phones on....I chased him for a good block before he was outtie.....when I realized I wasn't going to catch up to him I kept going looking like I was still trying cause folks were looking at me....

I made an honest effort and I was still looking to give it back so I looked in and there wasn't any ID with an address just cards to random stores and shyt but there was like $200 in both American and Euros...

So I did what any logical person would do and treated myself to a burger and a whore that night :manny: red light district was popping :blessed:
:ehh:you did good

Keep the money of course I mean at least try to find the irresponsible fool who lost it...like I said the finder is entitled to the cash ...hopefully the cards and ID make it back to the owner asap hate for them to be without their cards

Found a wallet before with no ID or credit cards but it had like 50 bucks. Bought some homeless folks food with it :yeshrug: there was no way to get it back to whoever lost it.

Keeping the money and putting it right back where/ or close to where I found it. The next person that finds it will do the "right" thing because they won't have any currency to take :yeshrug:.

Now If I found the wallet and nothing was in it, I would go bring it to a manager or lost and found or some shyt like that, 'cause ya know; its hard replacing all those cards/ids :troll:

i look at the id for the race

if its not black thats my 300 now
If it's a cac and you return it with the money intact, likely they'll still call the cops on you and accuse you of stealing it even though it was dropped.

They'll even accuse you of making a credit card purchase of an item that they made themselves. Fuccin crackers' man

Keep the money and return everything else. Probably mail the wallet to the address on the license or a number if I can find one.

If it was me I'd want the same...keep the cash as a reward for finding/returning it.

I just want my damn cards

Weather it’s 3 dollars or 3000 dollars imma try and get them their money back. I find steeling (even if it’s not direct) to be trifling behavior :yeshrug:

True story...

Had a coworker find a wallet in midtown with $1000 in it...

Told him to keep the money and turn the wallet into the dude at the security desk...

He decided to call the wallet owner (business card in the wallet) and return it to him himself thinking he'd get a reward...

Turns out the wallet belonged to a 15 year old Jewish kid who worked for his uncle in the diamond district...

Kid showed up with his uncle and at first just took his wallet back and shook his hand...

Apparently the kids uncle said something to him and then they gave my coworker $100...
