When Bush and his daddy debo'ed the election away from John Kerry...

I know in that moment my vote never meant shyt

The 2004 election was a little dicey, but that one was actually fairly legit. You can't blame Bush when Kerry wasn't able to pull enough swing states like Ohio to win. That's on Kerry and the Democratic party as a whole.

It's really quite fascinating to examine the 2000 Presidential Election, however, which was quite literally stolen.

Al Gore won the popular vote in Florida (and no less than 3 subsequent recounts confirmed as such) and due to ridiculous and antiquated rules, it still remained "too close to call". I'm sure we all remember the story: hanging chads, hand-counting, certain left-leaning counties having apparent voter fraud, etc.

Nonetheless, by any conceivable metric, Al Gore won the popular vote in Florida by the slimmest of margins and, by extension, the presidency.

Following the ballot-counting fiasco, (also ridiculous and antiquated) laws stated that the decision for which candidate won Florida (and, again, the presidency as a result) would ultimately reside with a majority decision in the Supreme Court. As you may know, there are 9 Supreme court justices, and the final vote tally ended up 5-4 in favor of Bush.

Funny thing is, the 5 justices who voted for Bush Jr were previously appointed... by George Bush Sr when he was in office.

How are white jews changing the system of white supremacy when they are behind it and benefit from it?
1. I don't think Jews are my innate enemy. So stop with this bullshyt
2. Jews have money. If we had it, we'd do it too. The point is to get paper.
3. American jews have played integral parts in aspects of the domestic civil rights movement if you really pay attention to it
4. White supremacy is a problem, but you're avoiding having to come up with any solutions in favor of constant and unresolved bytching.

Not every question is for a politician. There are initiatives as well. People are not even sure what they are missing out on because they don't even attempt to vote. Judges, sherriffs, and more...and we should be especially interested in the law.

Example: one ballot question was to amend (revoke) constitutional right to bail in New Jersey- now most of the people and families it affects, let's see if they voted :sas2:

Keep talking about the national parties and elections like that's a valid excuse to not vote at all.

Politicians are by large narcissistic sociopaths who do not have a genuine concern for their constituents or improving society. They just want to see their names and faces plastered all over the media to satisfy their ego. Their hidden purpose is to protect corporate interests. They are elite salesmen (and women) who have achieved success in fooling the masses. I genuinely feel sorry for people who believe in the facade of democracy and think that their votes mean anything.
