thats the whole point right here re: dukie and bubbles. both of them were smart dudes. sharrod, as much as i feel for him wasn't. he coudlnt read, his math was weak sauce, and he didn't really wanna work on it.

thats whats so fukked about about namond vs dukie. both were smart, but naymond was the one with the access and the opportunity. even though that little fakkit was trying as hard as he could to throw it away at first.

the thing of it is, you give dukie the same opps that naymond had, and he would have been successful too.

its not though. he was only locked up because Avon made him go and pick up that brick in new york. that super sloppy shyt with D riding with an exposed brick right in the trunk of a rental.

One of the most scenes is when Dukie brings up the pee balloons that was just last summer and Michael doesn't remember it.

Everybody says that, but I think he just said no because he can't allow himself to be attached to the past when times were more innocent. A lot had happened in a year and he would never be the same again so for self protection he had to deny remembering a time when he was just an innocent happy kid.

Saying that, I think he should have just stayed with his brother at their aunts crib or got a spot nearby.
