Dukie was actually smart, but the beast engulfed him. No real support outside of Mike.

Difference between Dukie & Wallace is that Dukie knew who he was. He wasn't a drug dealer or a fighter. Wallace was too soft for his own good in a world that's built on being hard shelled.

Matter of fact imma go with mike. Dude actually had influence over his peers so he could've kept them outta problems.

That episode when Mike and Dukie went to the theme park and met those girls shows they were just regular kids and would have had normal lives that most children live if it wasn't for their environment. You felt happy for them for a while and then they had to come back home to depressing Baltimore and having to face Monk's miserable ass.

One of the most scenes is when Dukie brings up the pee balloons that was just last summer and Michael doesn't remember it.
