This.

I was 270 in December. Strong as a fukking Ox but I had zero mobility outside of lifting. Helped for my first ever powerlifting meet in late January. But never again.

What were your numbers at that weight?

The most important thing is diet. Learn everything single thing about it, learn to manipulation your body through diet
Second most important is gear. Learn everything from A-Z about it and run it asap
Thirdly, form and muscle concentration over numbers
When you say gear you mean AAS?

Somewhere tropic...
When I would plateau at a certain bench weight I would get comfortable at that level
and not lift heavier.

From Atlanta to San Fran to LA 4now
Should have also attempted to increase my conditioning, and also stretch.

I just walk in, lift weights, walk out. I should stretch, do some cardio, lift some weights, some cool down stretches, maybe some cardio if i feel like it. then walk out

I did this exact routine in high school and I felt great, too :upsetfavre:
I do that now and I need to stop I'll go two-three weeks without going then walk right in no stretching lift weights minimal rest and walk right out. :snoop:

Great thread.

I would have stayed away from the flat bench barbell. That shyt almost put my rotator cuff on a long vacation. Dumbell Bench is so much better on your shoulders.

It's not about how much you lifting, and more about how well you are properly lifting. So keep your ego in check. And slow controlled high reps with full range of motion >

Hell yes removing momentum makes a world of difference.
