If you can’t warm up with at least 2 plates on each side (225lbs), you need to get your testosterone checked. U a man? U might be they/them

Boby builders die young and don't age well.
Compare Arnold to ernie hudson today when it comes to health appearance and mobility.

These guys are the same age and both photos were taken this year.
The goal isn't to be the biggest and strongest person in the gym, its to be fit and healthy. Lighter weight and more reps, >>> maxing out

Okay how about Ronnie Coleman. Former Mr Oylmpia almost 20 years younger than them

Arms are all deflated and he has to use a wheelchair now because the toll extreme wieght lifting took on his body.

All depends on the gym you go to.

If you're in one of them ol skool, musty gyms with iron plates....yeah, most of the brehs in there might be able to pump out a gang of reps at 225. That's the minority though.

Any other place you go, you'll see skinny brehs that can max 250 but got chicken legs and could squat a house cat. Then you got brolic azz James Harrison brehs that could lift you car to change a tire. I seen average looking white boys repping 405 on squat for WARM UP....but the same dude couldn't run a 10-minute mile just once.

Seen all these celebrities going ham on deadlift but you never see them under the squat rack or doing any kind of oly lifts.

225 (hell maybe even 185) is probably the most an "average" breh needs to lift for functional fitness. Anything above that isn't necessary unless you're tryna get signed to the practice squad.

It’s a warm up for me

I’m saying though, most people warming up 225 are pushing heavy weight and likely bigger themselves. Not everyone though, it’s very impressive. Bench press is one of the most body weight dependent lifts.
