ACC football will survive but will take a few more seasons before they make the move towards being a top conference production/record. I forgot about Notre Dame basically being an ala carte member.

TYRONE GA!
You'll see breh
Uconn n Cincy the best of the scrap left

Thing is Miami, Clemson, even your ga tech could leave for the sec, big ten or big 12 all conferences with bigger tv deals and more money

Uconn is a safety net for the acc another acc team will leave and the fallback will be uconn

Florida, Georgia, and SC would not let that shyt happen. It also does NOTHING for the SEC footprint wise. Those 3 would block any chance of the other's instate rival coming in.

As for the Big 10, I know that their were rumors of Delaney talking to our AD and School Pres, but the administration wants to remain in the ACC. it would take the ACC collapsing (which will NEVER happen since the Virginia schools and the Carolina Mafia of UNC, Duke, Wake, and NCST would never leave), for GT to leave the ACC.

Tom Jurich is one of the best ADs in the nation, bar none. The school has seen exponential growth and almost nothing but positive results.

His biggest snafus are Kragthorpe (which he and Charlie Strong have clearly overcame at this point) and the transition between Denny Crum and Rick Pitino.

And he has increased the stature of the other sports, across the board, without question. We had 8 college sport teams in the Top 10 this month :skip:

He builds strong bonds with his coaches, and gives incredible support to them. He's gone on television and said that he will make Charlie Strong the highest paid coach in the country, if that is what it takes to keep him. Instead of flexing to get Rick Pitino to consider coaching further, he backed off last year, and now we have at least another decade with him.

Wonder when Louisville is gonna get at Georgia Tech :stylin:

That's my AD

What does Cincy add to the Big 12? The Cincinatti market? Pfft. Ohio State has that market. I guess they have a nice basketball program. Football would be no better tha 9th in most years.

Im happy for L'ville to be moving up to a better conference but i cant front im :to: over here. No more Big East means no more DePaul Day games. Seeing Pitino showing up to those games with no tie and looking like he dont give a fukk always had me :russ:. It also means i cant see the cards come to Chicago and play Depual:sadbron:. I guess im gonna have to start making the trip to Louisville to see them play.
