when this country was declaring its independence from england, blacks were in slavery creating the wealth of this country through their labor, women had very limited access to opportunity and were generally seen as inferior, and even the asian man was getting slaved out to do the railroads.

and lets not forget, all this happened after the extermination of the indigenous people's of this land, the so-called "native americans."

if you were black 200 years ago, they would chop your genitals off and put them in your mouth as they hanged you, and this is before they probably raped your wife and did the same thing to your children. now you wanna run around with a fukking american flag talking about "happy 4th of july"

bottom line is, get knowledge, get free, LEARN YOUR HISTORY, and build something positive with your peoples.

im not anti-american, im anti-oppression and exploitation. and right now, america is oppressive and exploiting.

from your post it seems you are more concerned with capitalizing off the nature of the system for the benefit of black people, which i can't knock altogether because we need some economic independence, but we must be conscious of HOW we accomplish these goals. we can only eat from a poison tree for so long before we get sick.

you're really rolling the dice when you talk about pluggin into the matrix to get paid. because once the matrix collapses all the wealth associated with that system will be gone, especially when you consider the already artificial nature of american currency (by this i am referring to the inefficient way in which we overprint dollars not based on any real wealth or resources).
so since we know this system is not sustainable (1), and we know it doesn't look like it's changing any time soon (+1), that means we as a society are heading off a cliff (2). 1+1=2.

and we need to start making preparations because if we wait until the collapse to react ynow you have some serious challenges. challenges that are easily avoidable by simply preparing now.

im not anti america im anti wrong. and the united states is the epitome of evil in that regard. so im not gonna act like america is this free country when it's not.

a higher degree of sh*t is still sh*t. just because it's bad in the world does not justify america's behavior.

no matter how you slice it, we have to do better at seeing america for what it is. and more importantly, seeing what we CAN be.

bottom line, by co-signing america you are co-signing their behavior imo. you can't be neutral on a moving train!!

sure you can capitalize off the system while still saying f*ck the system and staying outside the system to a degree, but imo if you are not trying to actively replace this system with something better, to replace this system that is killing our people with something better, or if you are content living off the system in spite of the fact your people are suffering at the hands of this very same system... then i can't condone that.

when i talk about not being dependent on america i am talking about not being dependent on our social order.
so in essence what i am talking about is SELF EMPOWERMENT, so that we are not dependent on any outside entity for our survival. that means food, water, shelter, medicine, and any basic necessities are provided by one's self, for one's self, and for one's community.

it's simple math. if you are dependent on someone or something else for these basic necessities then you are dependent on someone or something else FOR YOUR SURVIVAL. that is not wise. especially when you're talking about trusting and depending on a maniacal, oppressive, lying, deceitful, murderous beast. that sh*t is just not a good look on any level... and people do not seem to be getting that point.

for the life of me, i just do not understand the american faith in this social order. check the history books, check the current events happening in the world and the evidence is there... this country was founded on oppression and exploitation and that has been the standard since day one, with no signs of change in the present... so WHY THE F*CK ARE WE STILL BANGING OUR HEADS ON THE WALL TRYING TO REFORM THE NATURE OF SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T WISH TO CHANGE. why go through this hassle when we can just create something new. we are creative beings living in a creative universe, let's use our gifts!!

but like it or not this system, this way of organizing and doing things, this way of treating people, has got to go. it cannot sustain. so the only question is are you helping build this new future, or are you trying to keep our current system in place?

of course we can survive without this social order. the question you have to ask is do you really think we can survive WITH this social order? in other words, do you think the way our society is operating is sustainable?

again, the unethical behavior of other nations does not justify the unethical behavior of the US. this is a fundamental point.
there are millions of thieves and murderers in the world, so would that justify you stealing and killing? no, of course not. so don't use negative behavior as a justification for more negative behavior... that kinda sh*t gets played out after third grade. don't you remember your moms sayin "So if Bobby jumped off a bridge are you gonna jump too?!?" ... see sometimes we gotta go back to the basics.

and it's not that i have a problem with people celebrating july 4th. i have a problem with people thinking july 4th is really their independence day and that they are apart of this american dream of freedom which is really an american nightmare. add to that the fact that we are oppressed and exploited more now than we ever have, and you have the reason i made the thread. it's a reality check.
like i said, a society full of slaves celebrating independence day is not a good look, so ima call it out.

im not gonna stand for oppression of any kind. in another day and time i would be living as a rebel in the mountains for my thoughts and actions, and as a student of history i understand that. but also as a student of history i know those days are not too far off here and now in america. as the jobless rate increases and the cost of basic goods explodes you are gonna see sh*t get really real out here. and with no industrial infrastructure or effective form of public education to speak of, it's going to get even worse.

im not gonna go too deep but my advice to you is don't get too caught up in this system. ball out til you fall out but you better be putting some wealth to the side. and by wealth i mean land, resources, self sustainable food, water, and shelter, guns and ammo, etc., because when the sh*t hits the fan that $15,000 in the bank isn't gonna do you any good.

and yes, the liberation of other people is YOUR problem.

all we need to worry about is creating a new, balanced, sustainable society. and to be honest we can keep much of the infrastructure we have in place. we don't need to burn down the post office, hospitals, other social services etc, we just need to modify how they're structured, what their true purpose is, and how they function.
