I hate black feminists, i've admitted that several times, i believe they are responsible for the destruction of the black family and are the fuel to the division between black male and female relations. Every blog, magazine, radio show and tv network you'll find Massa has appointed his favorite demon 'the black feminist' to destroy the black man. Now do i hate Black women? absolutely not. Do i hate black feminist? Yes, fukk a black feminist.(i don't disagree with the teaching of black feminism though :whoa:, those devils use it as a mask)
I don't hate black feminism as a concept...but IN PRACTICE, black feminism hasn't really done much.

its disturbing that maybe 10% of black women wear their hair natural where i'm at. its disturbing that the korean beauty supply stores around my area are always packed with black women in head scarfs.

me noticing it (and smelling it) :scusthov: not so disturbing.

Where YOUR at. Where i'm at the number isn't like that at all. Your looking at a four sided building from only one angle and telling yourself that your view is the only view.

Not very good logic at all.

Its none of your business why, you aren't a woman. You don't know the insecurities, pains or desires a woman has because you aren't one. This is an issue for women to resolve within themselves. Our job is to love and support their natural beauty and hope they lean towards that. If they decide not to, love them anyway because we surely aren't perfect.
What kind of simptastic shyt is this? :what:

It hasn't done shyt. A bunch of Beast from Xmen built black women that hate black men and twist the good nature of true black feminism teachings to further defile the black male image. All for that golden scooby snack from good ol' Massa. Then you get these weak hearted black men that get bullied into joining them or they were already bytch made that continue the legacy of softness. FUKK A BLACK FEMINIST.

because these standards of "beauty" are malleable.

thats kinda the point.

I'm not looking for "logic" per se, but consistency so excuse me if you took that to mean that this was a philosophical argument.

The point is that black women (as apart of the ~12% of the black population in the US) are following the dominant society.

Theres no if/ands/but's about that.
White standards of hair care are dominant and its ridiculous to even try and bring this up since you all don't like to admit that SUBCONSCIOUSLY you're being influenced to not prefer your own hair.

Thats why you let women ...rather TOLERATE women coming up with bullshyt arguments to avoid the dispute. "it protects my hair" etc.

What.

The.

fukk.

Ever.

nikkas ain't dumb...they just don't wanna argue, so they go along with it. Either they don't wanna lose the girl or want that "you can't stop my beauty" etc argument. whatever.

Don't play me like you don't know what i'm talking about either.

At the end of the day, white/asian women aren't going out there copping Jew Fro's and looking for black hair outside of halloween costumes.

Ya'll better peep game INSTANTLY
.
Dude please stop blowing up the size of your text doesn't make it any easier to read.

Well ok then, what the hell does consistency have to do with beauty and aesthetics? Are we not talking about an aspect of human nature that contradicts itself and is constantly morphing and cannibalising itself?

Almost everybody in America, male or female, is following the 'dominant society' (you could be more specific with what that's supposed to entail). You live in a country where the vast majority of commercial beauty products that are marketed in the mainstream are for white people. This does not need reiterating. The dominant strand of any society almost always dictates aesthetic standards in that society I'm not sure what your point is here. Nobody is disputing this.

Do you know for certain that a weave does not protect a womans natural hair? Do you understand the immediate rationale behind what various black women do to their hair? You are clearly somebody that values logic but for some reason you're happy to conduct this argument from a place of ignorance.

Again you are logical person, so you should understand that cross-cultural appropriation is not a zero sum game, no sane human being expects to see their culture equally reflected in others.

The reality is most black men don't have explicit problems with weaves or are so used to it that they don't think to question it. Many of the women we know have damaged their natural hair to the point where weaves and wigs are the only option (hint, hint). Weave is a cultural institution but that in itself is not where the focus of this debate should be and far too many of you are too hung up on it to see the actual root of the problem.

Men are more likely to listen, we stopped the conks. Let Malcolm try that approach with black women for a few years, he'd morph into Tommy Sotomayor.
I'd rather not put Malcolm X and that dude in the same sentence or start to speculate on what he would have done. The point is you have to show that you understand before your criticism is truly received.

the hair thing is a lot deeper than just general female insecurity, can you at least acknowledge that.

i mean, if black girls grew up with seeing nothing but images of beautiful black women showcasing their natural hair, would they be so quick to hide it?

But the hair thing isn't only a male thing. :mjpls: Our women do these things because we as men took over the duty of making them feel insecure about how they look. If we as men want change...step one is stepping up and being a man. Men take responsibility for their action.
