How 33% of dummies thumb this down.. we got a long way to go before we bring real music back
Gemz--Liked the intro you had going, nothing wrong you had with talking about flossing under adversity... Made me wonder where you was goin with that message
H@S Been--You speaking at the start is alright, that white sounding voice is not... not just how it sound but there ain't been enough time between the music for you to cut away that long back to back.. imo
Spittin real shyt... All ima say is you talking a lot about what you do that's different from the game how it helps the community if I'm hearing it right but it's sounding like swaggin right now cause you aren't listing anything specific.. you ain't on ignorant shyt so that's good but, you got to put your qualifications in or talk about some concrete positive shyt in your raps to prove the claims...
We all know that most rappers be on some dumb shyt though so you don't got to explain that.. You good there
I like that cut at the end, but you got too many skits so far.. What you should do is keep the intro one and keep this one cuz there's enough space between the two..
This Yr Is Mine--I can tell you on that late back tip with your voice.. Let that shyt loose like Pac and the kids won't mind you critiquing them as much like on that last skit
You got the lyricism like a mainstream.. A little lacking in the production, add a counter melody to the Streetfighter shyt imo.. But most of all, the best emcees combine lyricism with some standout delivery that grabs you.. The year is yours so get hype cuz
My Name In Lights--That's good with the chill vibe.. You can mellow out ya voice to that unlike the last joint..
And at that point it froze up, but I fukk with this followed up on that last joint.
No Changing Me--Was that autotune in the hook? aint tryna roast but deepen that shyt even if you doin it in mixing and sing it straight. You dont gotta hit every note perfect but be raw and legit with it.. If it aint autotune my bad but keep it with bass.. That would match that Duce ft
Like this politics breh. Remind them who our biggest enemies are.. Bush had me fuming first time on overseas affairs
Dumb Hot--Fukk that No Changing Me skit breh. What I would do personally is carry that last note from the last track into this.. And then it froze up again bout a minute in
Keep this skit.. I fukk with them preachers.. I was feelin that beat too but come heavier is what I'd say.. And make that singin heavy too.. Then cut that vinyl skip sfx if I was you, main thing is too much skits. Should be 1-3 max for any album
Mobb had 2
Supernova, 0
MATW had 0
Jeru Sun Rises, 0
Big L Lifestylez, 0
CrazySexyCool, 3
Illmatic, 1
Killuminati, 2
Best album with skits all over was Doggystyle for me.. That's some other level shyt
On Behalf Of Connecticut--That beat too boppin to not wile out but you can be on some lax shyt if you change your inflection
For example.. Beat can be polished up some more too but the foundation is there.. Aint a need to add shyt, just master the sound when you done. You tellin real stories and that's over 95% of these nikkas, so I aint tryna focus on the lyrical content too much
Keep the first skit or the last one but not both.. If you gonna keep both take out the one from the last track
Lose
Realest Forever Shine and I would say
The Fall of Confederate Skit cause of the next song.. But def Realest Forever got to go.. Last track I feel you but mainstream won't cause the average black consumer likes white-run record label rap. You can add some shyt to that last beat too, shyt got good foundations like the last.. Drags on worse tho only cause those previous skits drain me by then
All in all, I was real impressed though.. Name is legit, you cut different from most these dudes in the race. Without the skits Different Fabric already would be a 7.5/8 album for me... You got talent, can't no one tell you otherwise.
