Not really embellishing. Because Ghana allows 100 percent foreign investment, they look the other way to foreign abuse if they are heavily invested in the country. They allow 100 percent investment because they cant employ their people. Unemployment is through the roof. This allows foreigners who give jobs to treat them like dirt, because the demand for work is so high. If the worker doesnt like the conditions, someone else will tolerate them. Native Ghanan employees being abused by Indians, Chinese and Lebonese is very common. Ghana is going to need labor unions ASAP.

Corruption/Accountability is also still a big deal there as many investments have been squandered due to mismanagement and a lack of accountability for public officials who arent given the fear of wrath incentive to do right by the people. With that said, sexual abuse of children is a Big deal in Ghana because of foreign investment. It creates a corrupt environment. Im not sure how you can just gloss over it.

For example you have a situation where Ghana is trying to improve their agriculture by buying machinery from foreigners. Instead of hose products going to farmers, they end up being used by the government for personal gains and no one in power can stop them. The media does not air out corrupt officals, much like the west and its doubtful they will because they take western money.

Ghana at this stage in the game needs more oversight committees to ensure the money and resources to build infrastructure are going where they need to go.

So no, im not embellishing. The conditions in Ghana allow for alot of seedy activity.
I definitely agree with most of what you said but say people are going their to strictly have sex with minors is not true. (That's what I though you meant)

Child abuse is still a huge issue in ghana but my point is its linked to a bigger issue

My point was that ghana is not a peachy nation yet due to things like child abuse, which as you stated is linked to a bigger issue, and that issue, as i stated is poverty but i wish anyone the best brave enough to take that leap.

I am really not seeing what makes america, today, so uninhabitable for blacks, but if one wants to leave the country than fine, it's their business.

I'm not even black but this argument is pathetic.

1) The Patrice O'Neal retort :patrice:, "You think people in Africa think we're one of them?" "People in Africa aren't picking up the newest Jay-Z record going, 'Look what we did!'". Of course this is just in response to the 'Go back to Africa' super-bigoted argument (read up on the history of Liberia for how this works out).

2) As stated in the OP, black people worked for nothing to get this country where it is. America is like Egypt, they have the pyramids - they're remembered. But it's a staple moreso to the slavish environment. America went to the moon first off the backs of the slaves. There is no America without black people, so telling them to leave is unethical.

I definitely understand your angle. Black people in America are the rightful owners no doubt.

I was going to be a little offended at this, but then

Personally being a UK afro Caribbean and going through similar experience

Ah, I'mma give you a pass on that one, but as for rightful owners of America, "no doubt"

This is a painting of Mato-Tope, a chief of the Mandan tribe on the Missouri river. Chief Mato Tope attained eternal fame among his people for performing the Okipa ceremony, twice.

Wiki: "The Okipa ceremony was a major part of Mandan religious life. This complex ceremony about the creation of the earth was first recorded by George Catlin. The ceremony opened with a Bison Dance, followed by a variety of torturous ordeals through which warriors proved their physical courage and gained the approval of the spirits. The Okipa began with the young men not eating, drinking, or sleeping for four days. Then they were led to a hut, where they had to sit with smiling faces while the skin of their chest and shoulders was slit and wooden skewers were thrust behind the muscles. Using the skewers to support the weight of their bodies, the warriors would be suspended from the roof of the lodge and would hang there until they fainted. To add agony, heavy weights were added to the initiates' legs. After fainting, the warriors would be pulled down and the men (women were not allowed to attend this ceremony) would watch them until they awoke, proving the spirits' approval. Upon awakening, the warriors would offer the left little finger to the Great Spirit, whereupon a masked tribesman would sever it with a hatchet blow. Finally, participants would endure a grueling race around the village called "the last race" with weights and skewers still in place, to determine who among them was the strongest[citation needed].

Those finishing the ceremony were seen as being honored by the spirits; those completing the ceremony twice would gain everlasting fame among the tribe."

Successful African Americans for the most part aren't going to want to leave because they're living too comfortable of a lifestyle in America.

Look at atlanta's black middle class for example. All those doctors, lawyers, engineers etc with those big ass houses and nice cars. They are not going anywhere

Our footprint and contributions in this country has been deeply embedded for blacks to leave and set up shop somewhere else. We contributed more to this country more than any other group in my opinion.

Besides, where else can we go? And don't say Africa because most of them don't even like Black Americans.

Cant stand people who say that. Why leave family and friends when its better to fight for equal treatment in your own country. They're asking you to suffer in silence because it makes them feel bad.

Capitalism has no moral basis which is why slavery happened.

Under capitalism there will always be some black people in ghetto's and cacs in trailer park poverty.

I'm not leaving shyt. Too many black bodies died on behalf this country, too many black bodies were forced to perform labour to build this country's economy. Leaving is the most passive thing you can do. I'm not tolerating inequality by any means.

Break the native americans off with a check too
