The moon appears to be 3 dimensional but it's not a solid object

You can see stars through it at times

You can also see blue sky through the moon, which wouldn't make sense if it was a solid object in "outer space"

A solar day pertains to the position of the sun relative to earth's rotation on its axis, as well as earth's revolution around the sun. If you took a picture of the sun everyday at the same exact time (your local noon) pointing your camera in the exact same spot, you will see that you'd be slightly ahead or behind the solar noon, thus not creating a shadow that points directly to the poles at your local noon. This Phenomenon is also the reason we have Time Zones and Leap Years.

What does that have to do with the fact that the sun sets around the same time every day, which disproves the concept of the sidereal day?

Not sure if you are serious or not. The sun or most stars I'd imagine are a burning ball of PLASMA (4th state of matter) that is held together by the fusion created in its production of heat burning hydrogen into helium. Gravity is pulling everything towards the most dense part of the sun (the centre) whilst the burning of the hydrogen causes expansion.These two act against each other causing stability. Our sun is a main sequence star which means it is efficiently burning hydrogen into helium and still has quite a bit of fuel left before it starts burning other elements which will make it more unstable. The last element is IRON. Once a star burns through its elements and begins to burn iron it is at the end of its life cycle and will explode into a super nova if small enough or turn into a black hole if large enough. After the explosion pushed the matter outwards from the singularity there was a period of rapid expansion within this first millionth seconds after the big bang. If I were to unify two theories if spacetime is a superfluid then it could be believed that would be the reason for the forward motion of time since the big bang.

Actually the moon does rotate. From earth is appears not to because it is tidally locked with the earth which means its rotation on its axis coincides with its orbit around the earth.

It actually doesn't and is the exact opposite. It is an indication of the curve. Water will always level it self out regardless of what shape it is contained in. You can also look at the sky and see the curve in the distance as the sky doesnt appear flat.

As the earth rotates around the sun; the sun rotates around the super massive black hole at the centre of our galaxy. As do all the other stars in our local group, so it appears that way because we are all moving together.

Clouds dont move at 1000 mph, they move at a much slower speed, so they may be moving at 40mph or so unless caught in a jet stream. So they move at whatever speed the jet stream is moving. This is of course over simplified, we haven't taken into account friction, air temperature, air pressure for example. Just because the rotation is one speed or direction doesn't mean that nothing is moving counter to it. @xCivicx seems to think that dismissing an answer then asking the question slightly differently means he is disputing or disproving an answer.
