If that Drake album sells 500k first week

Drake is still popular so I think he easily gonna do 300K.

Of course he's popular - he's one of the biggest rappers/pop stars around, but it's a joint project with a lesser quantity, and I don't think he has the machine behind him like in previous projects. I also didn't like that preview song - sounded super generic and derivative of everything PND has done so far
That said - there will be a lot of interest in the project seeing as it's coming on the back of all this - so maybe that'll boost it. I think it might fall just short of 300K

If I’m Drake, I’m not worried about how much my album sells. I need to hop back on my feet first and get my ass back into the groove of things before the beef.
PND has been mid for years…..Besides the 21 Savage collab, Drake music ain’t been hot either. and I credit that to 21 tbh. Then you combine that with dealing with the onslaught from Kendrick? I don’t think it’s gonna make waves like that unless there’s some controversy attached to it where he’s going at Dot.
And that would be a bad mistake….

Way better than streaming is. They've changed the rules multiple times. At least If you bought an album you bought an album.And “Pure Sales” aren’t?
And there were resources to differentiate between shipping gold/plat vs sold through to customers. Streaming "sales" is an oxymoron.

That beef was never gonna end the loser’s career. I don’t get why some bruhs been pushing that it would. Drake will forever get clowned for losing, but his career will stay intact.
If he sells 200k range… then yes, Kendrick did hurt his career…
And let’s be honest, this album has no buzz, and every song Drake has released since the battle has been a flop.
The problem is his ego is too big for that. He needs to do what Jay did after ether and admit he lost, move on and make dope records.
But he doesn't have it in him to do that.
The truth of the matter is that
A). Collab albums don’t usually do as well sales wise as the bigger artist’s solo albums do.
B). The last time Drake went “experimental” it resulted in his lowest selling solo album.
C). He just got his ass whipped ROYALLY and the belt to ass treatment might not be over. Kendrick keeps finding new and improved methods of keeping his foot on Drake’s neck. Drake better pray that Kendrick doesn’t decide to drop a deluxe or God forbid a new project because if he does then its a WRAP.
With that being said i’m guessing he does 200-250k first week. Its time for his fans to prove themselves. If he can manage that then he can keep his head held high and live to feed the tent writers another day.
