T.I. Still got songs with heavyweights like Dre, Jay, Em along others. I think he’s still know for being a very good MC.

T.I.’s ascent from 2003-2008 was incredible. I wasn’t even a fan of his, but he was undeniably a star. The buzz around Urban Legend and especially King and Paper Trail was insane.

Nah TI was definitely up there with Wayne in 08. Paper trail was a certified smash hit.

TIP had been at the top longer and Wayne caught up (when they did soldier with destiny child TI was undeniably bigger).

He went to jail that second time and dropped that weak follow up and that was it. Wayne rode the YMCMB wave for like the next 5-6 years lol. TI never saw them heights again

t.i. peak is the same as waynes. maybe even bigger

and he was better too

especially in 08

I got T.I. in 06 bigger than an any version of Wayne pre Carter 3 & Young Money

The argument is there he was biggest rap artist at the time when 50's just hitting the downside of his peak, Jay's way over peak in Kingdom Come phase, and Nas was on the Hip Hop Is Dead stuff nobody cared about and was dumb cold

He never recovered from the first gun charges after Big Phil died, but TI vs TIP was made right before that and was a dud compared to King & Urban Legend so he regresses anyway. Maybe he gets it back if he doesn't get popped or maybe he doesn't

Paper Trail run was weak and felt like he was trying to stay clean chasing after pop singles but he caught some wind, it just wasn't 06 levels

no the fukk he wasnt
Yes he was breh.

You are either young or a Gucci Mane stan holding a grudge or something :pachaha: Jeezy wasn't some unknown underground rapper, he doesn't have any crossover songs that get played on pop radio like T.I and Wayne do but with Black ppl at least he was very popular at his peak.
