Help me out here fellas......how exactly was it a dumb foul (real question here)?
wouldn't Miami have gotten a new 24 & ran out the last 18 seconds? It was either that or foul.
It should be the coach or referees responsibility to notify evreyone of the rules in situations like that. Or at least the team captain/veteran.
ESPN's Ric Bucher claimed on Twitter that he saw Brooks tell his attentive team including Westbrook about the shot clock. It seems as if Westbrook simply had a lapse of judgment and memory in the moment.
exactly, every single one of his teammates INCLUDING ME thought he only had 0.8 secs to score. actual nba players didn't know the rule existed
yeah but a dumb foul is a dumb foul. Just because Westbrook went off doesnt make it not a dumb foul
not disputing that, at all...isolated to that play, but if we're talking the games harden and westbrook had w/ their boneheaded plays, there's no comparison.
Harden looks like highschool player this series
the shot clock doesnt reset in the NBA unless the ball hits the rim
I didn't even see that one. I was tripping off the post up when Bron passed it off to Bosh last second under the basket. Bron himself was surprised the whistle blew.
Not disagreeing. But saying since he did so much absolves him from that gaffe doesn't make sense. He needs to know the situation. (probably wouldnt have mattered though. Still needed a quick stop and a 3)
it makes a ton of sense. Harden still played like ass and Durant getting punked tryna post up.
many more things went wrong than a foul and not knowing how much time was on the shot clock.
No shyt!!
