HHH has done a good job of making the IC title feel important under Gunther, would it look good on him, or is it goofy for him to parade around with the secondary championship

Mr. McMahon was still in charge when Gunther was called up from developmental to the main roster (Smackdown)...two months later He(Gunther) won the WWE Intercontinental Championship, while Mr. McMahon was in charge

Wrestlers make the tittle, the title don't make the wrestlers. If you ain't over/getting heat then it doesn't matter who is in charge of "creative" Gunther is that good

How about y'all talk about how most of The Game returning/debuting Superstars have flopped since returning/debuting...
Hit Row
Emma
Damage Ctrl(Dakota and Iyo)
Karrion Cross
Johnny Gargano
Dexter Lumis
Baron Corbin
Candice LeRae
Luke Gallows, Carl Anderson
Mia Yim

Bronson Reed just got there, so I'll keep his name off the list....For Now

Would be weird to rush the end of such a successful angle, no? I'm sure Roman will take a long break but I'd be surprised if the story doesn't go into how the Bloodline fares without their Tribal Chief. So when he comes back they can make something big for Summerslam and they you can end it.
They can go a few different ways with it without ending the storyline

Bloodline turns on Roman when he loses, take him out. main event Jey runs shyt in his purist evil form, Roman saves the day once Jey is established..

Or Roman takes his sabbatical, Bloodline does their thing until he returns

Either way, I’m willing to bet Roman is gone for a while post mania.

Nah, let GUNTHER run with it and either drop it to Sheamus or break Honky Tonk’s record (then dethrone Cody at Survivor Series).

You can have The Bloodline either function without him, which leads to Roman/Jey III at Summerslam for the leadership spot. Or have them split and Roman comes back, tryna turn them back into subordinates with Jey bucking back, which also leads to Roman/Jey III (or Solo doing the same, leading to Roman/Solo)

the argument you’re having is a weird one..

You can’t credit Vince for booking anything currently because he’s not in creative and hasn’t been for 8 months. He’s not writing or booking anything currently..

You can say he had a hand in the inception of what’s currently happening since he was in charge when things were birthed, Roman’s heel run for example. That still doesn’t change the fact that he isn’t CURRENTLY writing anything, and he hasn’t been for several months.

On the other side, Triple H is doing a fine job in a lot of areas HOWEVER he’s doing awful in some other areas. He hasn’t written big men strong at all (he’s trying with Reed at least) most of the guys he brought back are flops and the tag team emphasis we hoped for is still pretty nonexistent. Same with the womens tag division.

We can talk all day about the categories Hunter is falling short in, because there’s a lot of em. product is far from perfect. That doesn’t negate the areas he’s shined in tho, and it also doesn’t negate interest and attendance being up. You be happy as hell to make them weekly threads for a reason. pretending you aren’t enjoying shyt to massage some Vince narrative or trying to credit Vince in proxy for the current product despite him being completely out of creative for nearly a year now is just strange behavior.

If anything, Gunther has proven himself to be worthy of moving into the main event scene

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I figure if Roman loses at Mania, he'll go radio silent for a while, before returning at SummerSlam for one final reach at the title. Then, if he loses there, that's when the descension between Roman and the Usos (most notably Jey) will really start, with him getting paranoid and start questioning whether or not he's still "Head of the Table" and they can carry that program into the next Mania. Bring in Rock if he wants to join in on the fun too. Why not?

It seems like when a champ loses nowadays, they will take some time off afterwards, whether it be for a few weeks or a few months. Brock did it, Rhonda did it, Becky did it. Etc.

If he loses at Mania, he needs to take some time off and do some soul searching the night after Raw, then return at Money in the Bank, winning the briefcase, and call his shot by announcing he’s facing the champ at Summerslam.
