If Next Friday wasn't a sequel do you think it would be held in higher regard?

I’ve come to a conclusion that 90% of Ice Cube films involve getting money :dead:

Nah. It's right where it would be regardless.

1. Friday
2. FA
3. NF

Friday After Next has quotables for days. Like most said, it's not the best movie but I'd argue it's the funniest. It also put Sommore, Terry Crews, and Katt Williams on.

"It ain't but one location so its nearest you" :pachaha:

I watched most of this yesterday on Bravo, and I'll stand by what I said, though the casual misogyny is pretty jarring as an adult. Some of the African/Indian race jokes don't set entirely well either, despite a laugh or two from me. The movies first quarter is the strongest, after the first 25 minutes or so, the movie lurches to the conclusion, the supporting characters, overly broadly drawn as they are, really make the move. From Ellroy, Joker, Day Day, to Willy Jones, they are the real heart of the movie.
