Navy Seals and Marines are trained in CQC (Close Quarters Combat), that fighting style is meant to save your life in a situation where you are unarmed, think Bourne Identity or even Batman begins. All those moves that those soldiers learn are meant to be either disabling, crippling or deadly. shyt would not translate to octagon fighting, they would be at a disadvantage.
