Because they don't have all day to train for MMA. And really alot of the operators don't look how you would think they do. Hell to be honest I'd say that support Soldiers are probally in better shapes (Aestics) then combat Soldiers.

i asked my pops this when i was younger and he just laughed.i'm not saying this cause my pops is a seal, but its a completely different training. theres no tap out or referee in the real world. limb destruction and pressure point fighting>>>>>>>>>>anything you gone learn in a mma gym i've studied krav maga for 3 years now and we eat them mma wanna be ufc dudes for lunch and randy studies in many different types of styles thats why he gave that marine instructor the business its like sayin shyt if track players so good all of them should be wr's or play soccer since they like to run or why you see so many players fail at other sports than their original trust me i work security and have worked around a few bases and i've been in bars where navy seals have wore out marines, special forces, mma dudes etc. i just sit back and watch

Nope it's likely that they won't last long in the ring. I am a Ranger (not anymore left the regiment) and have spent alot of time with SF. A top Tier UFC fighter is a superior fighter in the octoagon.

It's like saying some random dude who is really good at hoops in your city can take on one of the top nba players.

the only good techniques i saw in there were things people versed in the disciplines of MMA (boxing/muy thai/jiujitsu/judo/wrestling) train themselves

spinkled in with some weapon stuff (which should be trained for combat situations), and some corny techniques that arent really practical

i fukks with Sambo, but definitely feel like its a broke mans BJJ/Judo. Outside of the Fedor, who's athleticism and power seperated him from the rest, not too many high level fighters really spend a lot of time on it

real talk what difference would a street fight actually make? unless we talking about using weapons or getting help the navy seal is getting ethered one on one no matter the setting. Why would a street fight be any different when the mma guy is a superior fighter and can also use dirty tactics?
