Meek lost because he had no coherent strategy and let Drake dictate everything. Meek was way more popular than Pusha T. But if you gonna go at someone popular as Drake though you gotta be strategic
That song with the Undertaker sample was weak outside the QM reference vocals and got pulled down quick because he didn't clear the sample. Can't remember the timeline exactly but Flex was hyping the hell out of a Meek diss he was gonna debut and Meek never turned it in

Also wouldn't be surprised if Meek was told to fall back by MMG and Roc Nation. If I was Ross, I would have been hot, because he had a great relationship with Drake that was beneficial to MMG and Meek fukked that up for no reason. Far as I know, we still ain't heard why Meek even had a problem with this dude except that he didn't tweet about his album
