If he wins he'll definitely never box again unless it's a Floyd rematch ($$). I think win or lose he'll probably retire since he's making 9 figures.
I heard somewhere that McGregor has a couple of mandatory fights waiting for him at UFC....I don't know how true that is tho

No, bc boxing fans watch boxing and mma fans watch mma. And fighting fans watch both. I think there may be more crossover to boxing if anything bc then mma dudes gonna be like damn weont gotta starve no mo?!

If Floyd wins it'll discourage more ppl from trying boxing

Boxing fans will always watch boxing, however new fans would probably go another route if they know the best fighter of a generation lost to an 0-0 guy. They wouldn't be able to fathom this as elite prize fighting, especially if Conor goes back to MMA. He would take most of the casual fight fans to MMA, despite how great 2017 has been for boxing.

boxing does not live and die with floyd mayweather..the same as mma does not live and die with conor mcgregor....if floyd loses than its floyd and his legacy that takes a hit

U don't think it's a bad luck that some MMA guy with 0 pro fights comes in and beats the proclaimed best in his generation. Makes the sport look weak that be like Tom Brady coming in and dropping 40/10/10 on the Warriors his NBA debut

this fight happening makes this sport look weak..like a sideshow breh..this fight is happening not because of any boxing vs mma debate..its only a byproduct of the real reason..floyd needs to make money to pay the IRS

Yeah because that was UFC vs UFC fight Holly already had several MMA bouts on record

Everyone considered holly a boxer going to UFC, the same James toney went to UFC but he lost. Dana was wanting to prove a mma fighter would beat a boxer in that fight.

Toney lost in a debut fight similar to Conor vs Floyd if Toney beat Couture that shyt would've made UFC look like a complete joke as well especially as out of shape Toney was.
