Wall is not in the same class as Rose when it comes to finishing around the rim.........at all. :deadrose:'s body control >>>>

If Wall can't get to the front of the rim when he's attacking, more often than not he's bricking it.

I never said he was better than Rose at that...I just said Rose misses a lot and no one says jack

There are some valid points in this quote, but I would counter the dwight howard argument with Shaq, his small half hook around the basket was virtually unstoppable. I think a lot it boils down to footwork, which Kareem, Hakeem, Ewing and Shaq have great footwork combined with power.

But I would have to say that LeBron is the best combination of power, speed, and touch when needed. He never seems to out of control or unable to pull back when needed. Durant is coming in a close second.

Kobe is the exception because he's Kobe, Westbrook will definitely get better though.

That's all it comes down to is footwork and touch....sum nikkas got it sum nikkas dont:manny:...I've seen every nikka that's fast with the ball at times push the ball too fast and end up missing a layup that comes with the territory....but to blame that on John Walls shortfalls is ridiculous...id rather blame his heart:lolbron:

I think Curry will have a breakout season. He has a center to play with for the 1st time in his career and a legit roster plus he won't have Monta taking the ball out his hands. He made almost half his shots last year. If that ankle held up he would've did numbers. Never really got a chance to see him and Klay start a game together either.

If only Curry was healthy on the regular - he got the potential to be a top 5 player in the game:ohlawd:

touch/body awareness and raw athletic power are two different things. basketball is a duality of explosive movement and more carefully executed, delicate, finesse movements. a good question you can ask is why kareem can sky hook effectively but more powerful, more explosive big men in this more athletic era of basketball cant. why cant more powerful, more athletic big men like dwight howard move with the same grace and awareness as the less athletic tim duncan. one answer is that powerful, explosive movement is contradictory to soft, delicate, graceful movements. this, to me, would make some sense.

westbrook, whos decent now at shooting from about 15 feet, must come to full halt to get off that shot. he must switch his body from an explosive state to a more mindful and ultimately softer, more delicate state. his shot still looks very hard and stiff. it doesnt have that characteristic softness or smoothness that a true shooter has. i would never expect westbrook to have a shooting touch like kobe, who has softer and smoother body movements. kobe consequently has a shot variety that i dont think westbrook would ever have, as hard and as explosively as he likes to move.

i wouldnt expect wall to have it either, since his whole style is oriented at being powerful and explosive vs soft and delicate

Let's think about the absolute bums he is playing with on the wizards the past years. his value won't be realized until he has better teammates around him
