If I wasnt Latino what race would I have to identify with?

you'd just be called mixed/multiracial. north americans are about 3 gens behind south americans, so we're still having a hard time wrapping our heads around it, give us 300 years. (south america started in 1500s, 200 yrs ahead)

my father is from cuba, had issues back in the days in NOLA, so he labeled himself creole.

technically speaking other than language creoles and cubans share the similar background. (he has french and spanish blood)

How often are you exposed to/around a large number of Colombians to make the assertion that, on the whole, they're uppity?

When I used to work as a waiter at this upscale restaurant they males were always short tempered ignorant a$$holes who would NEVER tip right, always threatened to call the manager at the slightest indescretion and one even went so far as to call me a simple cuban peasant and that my job was to serve him and I should be glad I was his waiter before I invited him to suck my dikk in front of his wife at the top of my lungs... the women are okay, even sweet but the dudes? fukk outta here.... its the older generations tho young colombians are cool as fukk, they're quick to pull that 'your cuban your inferior to me' shyt cuz they come over flossing mad money not knowing that since everybody is broke and treated as equals under socialism in cuba, we dont stand for that shyt its in the culture we aint used to be talked to down so it makes for a lot of fights... cubans dont even call ppl don or doña as a sign of respect like yall do because we all came up being raised everyone is equal

My moms works in education. And she said some people(asians, Mexicans, mixed, arabs etc.)put their child as white if its not a clear distinction of their race present or even if it is.

She said they do that cause they feel it looks better on paper and that it may get them some type of step edge over other children some reason.

Don't know if this helps. other than the fact they feel claiming white is better than claiming their own race in America.

you kinda missing the point I said earlier, it the older gentlemen who have a tendency to be dikkish because they come from money in their old country and try to act like that here, as if if everyone is gonna bend over backwards for them Im not the only my whole family has had negative interactions with colombians, venezuelans on the other hand never had a problem with... and again its mainly the older guys ppl my age are cool and the females are fukking beautiful, and yes ms I live in miami theres more colombians here than anywhere in the u.s.

You would have to know the history of the country you come from and the history of your family in order to answer that question. Latino and Hispanic are not races. They are words used to categorize people who come from countries that were under Spanish or Roman rule. There are white, mixed raced, black, Asian, and other races of people who are Hispanic and Latino. There are a large group of Hispanics and Latinos who are mixed raced due to the racial mixing of African slaves, Natives and people from Spain. However, that isn't true for everyone. You would have to know your history in order to answer that question. You cannot go by skin color alone because skin color does not always tell the whole story of your ancestry. There are a loft of Hispanics and Latinos who have color issues and will exclude or pretend that they do not have Native/Indigenous or African ancestry. Try to take an unbiased look at your history.
