I Thought There Was A "League Conspiracy" Against The Lakers?

I wouldn't call it a conspiracy, but it's no secret that the new CBA is designed to "reign in" big market teams and the Lakers were definitely in mind.

When you have other owners that have NOTHING to do with a trade writing emails to David Stern about the dealings of the Lakers, it stands to reason that many team owners go out of their way to fukk them over not necessarily on the court but in meeting rooms on some hoe shyt. All the while forcing the Lakers to supplement the incomes of teams that make consistently shytty decisions via the luxury tax.

The thing is, they still manage to get around all that shyt, regardless. It's beautiful. And that Time Warner broadcasting deal money kicks in this year too, so while the Lakers don't necessarily wanna pay out the ass every year, the amount of money they'll be bringing in before the first basketball even hits the hardwood means they can be like "fukk it, we'll spend" if they want to.

And should they actually manage to get Dwight too?

The Lakers with Dwight are scary at least for a season or two til Bean or Nash hit that wall. But to the guy who said Bynum is just as good im sorry thats just not true. I admit Bynum has more talent then Dwight on the offensive end and is pretty damn good defensively. But D12 is a monster night in and night out getting 20 and 15. This is the only season where he has been injured but he still produced when playing. Drew just dont or cant bring it every nght like Dwight. And even offensively i think D12 only takes 12 or 13 shots a game. Given 20 he would average 25-30 points a game easily.
