U sound like an idiot man. Once a doctor clears a coach to play and the player wants to play. The coach isn't gonna go to Ray Lewis, Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson that they are not gonna play. I know way more about football than u do.

We wasn't cleared than they had him doing option plays after the fact :comeon:

I doubt he could walk so easily if it was torn.He needed no help I think he re aggravated the original injury

If it was torn he woulda had a noticable limp like brady had when he tore his

guys have torn their acl and walked normal

every person is different, plus he already has a brace on

:wtf: When dude is obviously labouring and barely able to plant a leg, any coach would obviously have the power to pull him. You think Shanahan's hands were tied at that point?

Remember when Andy Reid sent that LB back out after he was stumbling and looking lost for an extra play.

He gets another job and the players like him. So demonic.

My gosh. It's sad that you can even believe this fukked up logic. Let's just say your mindless thoughts are true...then why have a coach? If the players can just over rule the coach and say....' nah man, fukk you I am going in the game"....then why have a coach? If players can decide when they go in and out of games....then what would be the point? So according to your fukked up logic.... if Wes Welker wants to go in the game and Beli has other plays he is trying to run.... Wes can say.."nah man, fukk that I am going in the game"
:beli:
or Osi can tell Coughlin...."nah, I am going in man and I don't care what you say"......

man go sit yo ass down somehwere....you sound foolish and ignorant

Yes, Shanahan had the power to pull him. Shanahans hands were ot tied. He just felt tht RG3 at 70% could win him the game. RG3 was trying to tough it out and keep playin for his team.

rg3 wanted to play u think if rg3 didnt think he could go he wouldnt go :birdman: stfu

Yeah....except RG3 isn't the coach. It's not his job to decide when players are medically cleared to play. Of course Griffin wanted to be on the field. He's ALWAYS gonna want to be on the field, just like Peyton will always want to be on the field.

But it's not his call to make. Griffin may be stubborn, but this is 100% Shanny's fault.

I don't think anyone is questioning RGIII playing. I think people are taking issue with the number of designed runs, especially after he got shaken up early in the game. Using RGIII's willingness to keep playing and keep running is the worst copout ever.

"Well I asked Rob and he said he was okay and he could go faster. :smugfavre:"

:wtf: The nikka is looking like Fred Sanford out there and you need confirmation/permission from him in order to change the play calling? :snoop: The small amount of respect that I had for that rat-faced fukk is now gone.

:mindblown::thefucc:

He got injured the play before he threw the TD pass to Paulsen and went up 14-0.

The play when it became evident that his knee wasnt 100 percent was the interception he threw. He never pushed off with his right leg, and the ball didnt go as far as it normally goes.

That's like saying "None of ya'll were saying the fight should be called when the guy was ahead on points early in the fight. Ya'll waited until he could no longer defend himself to start saying that shyt. :shaq2:" :what: He looked progressively worse as the game went on.

Believe it or not.....that dummy Ronnie Lott says that it's the players that actually make the final call on when they go in and when they go out. Silly, but somehow he thinks this. Coach be damned.

I mean, don't get it twisted. Griffin made a choice not to leave the game after he probably should have. He did have a degree of control over his own destiny.

But the bottom line is that the buck stops with the coach. A football player, particularly a competitive one, will almost never take himself out of the crucial game while he's still able to walk. And if he does, he'll be the immediate object of scrutiny. See: Jay Cutler.

It's in Shanahan's (not Griffin's) job description to evaluate his roster and determine which of them are fit to play.Period.
