GGG didn't lose the first 3 or last 3 though....

How didn't he lmao
Canelo was teeing off on him lmao

Canelo dominated the fight, he had Triple G chasing and he countered while pivoting off the ropes

in the center of the ring Canelo was the one throwing combos while Triple G stood there

yeah Canelo gassed, but he never stopped working

Triple G did not land over 100 jabs on Canelo, those punch stat numbers are bullshyt, GGG face is bruised up, Canelo doesn't have a mark on him, he was getting touched that often, GGG can take some good shots, Canelo twisted his head around when he landed a Clean haymaker, which would've KO'd most people

I wonder if Canelo would be comfortable being in the trenches in the rematch. He did it a few times this fight and looked pretty decent. That needs to be his strategy in fight two for the middle rounds and not trying to counter off the ropes.

Anyone who scored this fight 115-113 can't possibly be upset at a draw result.

Wonder if all the people bigging up ggg for "bringing the fight to canelo" were doing the same for Jeff Horn when he did that same thing to Manny

Too bad Horn didn't throw more and land more against Pacquiao. GGG did both last night against Canelo. Try again kid.

And GGG was the clear winner. Whether it was by 1 round, 2 rounds, or 3 he deserved to win last night. Canelo did not win last night. He definitely didn't win 6 rounds. It's sad how bad decisions are a part of boxing as much as boxing gloves are.

the only good thing is that GGG is close to tying the MW defenses record

This is exactly the kind of Shyt I hate about boxing

GGG won this fight EASY
I can accept a 115-113 split decision but a draw where one judge said 118-110 with no knockdowns.. wow

They robbed him.. Point blank

The fight was good but no way am I paying for a rematch .. It wasn't THAT good and the ending (scoring) made it even worse in my opinion

I Didn't watch Floyd's last two fights and after this
I may not buy another (PPV) fight ever

Please stop watching Boxing

Canelo dominated him early in the fight, gave away some middle rounds and went right back to schooling his ass

He was pretty easy boxing for Canelo,

This nikka parrying punches like Ryu on street fighter lmao

Real boxing isn't appreciated, Canelo was working dude, combo him up, GGG made zero adjustments, if Canelo had more power he would've KO'd him

GGG was barely landing on Canelo, he was picking punches with the glove, he even parried a punch with a punch, Canelo is way more skilled than GGG. GGG can take a good punch, only reason why people think he won because he was coming forward lmao, if you coming forward getting lit up, you losing

Good thing we'll have a more definitive answer in fight #2. You should know a little something about that

The bold is false breh...

He did stop working and that's exactly why a lot of those middle rounds went the other way...

You can't fight half a round and expect to win it...

GGG cut the ring off the whole fight and that takes skill.. GGG won easy 116-112. You can't run, land less punches, and win..

once again, Canelo dominated the final rounds, he won the 9th round, don't see how anyone can have it that
way, he was easily out boxing GGG and landed the bigger shots

Those were only the middle rounds

GGG did nothing in this fight, he is grateful for the draw, he should've lost to Danny Jacobs too

The fight didn't live up to my expectation. Enjoyed it but wasn't impressed. ggg=1 dimensional canelo=no stamina

I gotta give this fight to ggg. Took this by a round or 2 imo.

GGG did a better job of selling the win. Canelo just looked gassed.

I can see the argument for a draw, but it would be a stretch to say Canelo won.

Can't put any trust in Canelo's stamina anymore. And GGG can be out finessed and out hustled, just haven't found the opponent yet.
Wasn't impressed :yeshrug:

We actually won't have a more definitive answer in a rematch. All we'll find out is how they'll do in 8 months. And GGG will be 36 by then. Boxers need to get credit for what they do the FIRST time they do it. You shouldn't have to beat someone twice cuz you get robbed the first time.

And if you were trying to allude to Kovalev vs Ward 2, second fight proved nothing to me. Kovalev was leading on a scorecard at the time of the stoppage and Ward landed a 3 punch low blow combo that the ref missed entirely.
