I'm gonna slap the fire out of the next person that says this dumb shytconsidering we've only been intelligent for about 5,000 years, and technological for 2,000, I think it's safe to say that in another 10,000 we'll be able too, and perhaps even colonize them.
we barely understand our own planet and use 7% (at best) our brains. Once we evolve to about 50%, the skies (see what I did there) is the limit.
One thing is for certain, per example of other planets, this one, won't last forever.

Yo that's some real shyt. When I was young I used to say the world revolves around me and of course people would say it doesn't but I would tell them the world revolves around them too. Then I'd challenge them to open their eyes and tell me what they saw ALL AROUND them... the world.
My world revolves around me just like your world revolves around you. But these worlds are intertwined and can effect one another. If someone is pissed off they could effect the next person just like if Jupiter went out of orbit we'd be fukked here on Earth.

Really if we didn't have other planets, etc...wouldn't it be a little too obvious god created earth and humans for a purpose? Then no one would question gods existence right? There's gotta be some element of faith/belief involved.

Jupiter protects us with it's large gravitational force by attracting asteroids/comets but as we've seen, that isn't 100% effective. Otherwise, Jupiter has no effect on our planet.
