Ward has the better inside game and he is mentally tough af, awkward too, Floyd would have problems with him. It's not like Mayweather wouldn't be a good inside fighter but Ward is better in that territory. I still take Mayweather but he wouldn't have an easy night with SOG

This where im at with it. I think Floyds reflex's and elusiveness pulls it out in the end. Ward for all his genius will eat some punches from time to time. Floyd went whole fights without getting touched. Thats reality tho. This is fantasy so same weight class are they 147 or we going big? so many variables

maidana and ward fight nothin alike
Didn’t say they do but roughhousing and being physical is something common in them. It wouldn’t look like the Maidana fights just pointed out Floyd can be roughed up on the inside too even though he’s a good inside fighter himself.

I thought Ward was an excellent fighter, but Floyd was just better. Hypothetically, if they were the same size and in their primes, I see Floyd winning a clear but ugly decision.

Ward might have actually been better P4P during the 2011-12 period though. Ward was at his peak, Floyd was 35. Floyd's actual peak was before he became a big mainstream star with the Oscar fight, it was in his lower divisions from 130-140. He just had crazy longevity and skill/talent/work ethic and was able to be great into his late 30s and above his best weight classes.

I agree it’s like people forgot what he did to Diego Corrales and the build up to that fight.

I thought Diego was going to stop Floyd. Many people were saying Diego was the next Thomas Hearns...which I didn't agree with. Floyd was outstanding in that fight. Floyds talent as a fighter is often overlooked because he just doesn't have a likable personality. I think Floyd would easily beat Ward.
