Mississippi and Tennessee. It’s the norm here in both places. Just like putting butter and sugar in your rice.
U must be from Northern Mississippi cause nikkas would slap ya plate on the floor seeing u put sugar on rice down south :scust:

Alot of people in GA did this but not in my house. Hell I don't think I've ever seen anybody on my daddy side make spaghetti. On that side you aint getting nothing but soul food.

Fish and pasta is pretty common in a lot of places, especially costal cities. I dunno if that’s the case in, say, Oklahoma. But Italian food, Asian food, etc. mix noodles and fish quite often.

What Italian dish has fried fish with pasta. What Asian dish has spaghetti.

I was just talking about this last week.

People here in Savannah eat spaghetti with fish or chicken like it’s a side dish. I always thought it was a meal all by its self.
That’s a staple at almost any black function. You can guarantee spaghetti, fried chicken, green beans, mac n cheese and some type of pasta salad is set out
:heh:

I've never had the combo

And I've only ever liked spaghetti with a meat sauce... Are we talking about just tomato sauce and pasta??:gucci:

you could mix it up, have pasta and tomato sauce with the fried fish and eat it together...:ld:

Proof number 2345 that black folks dont eat outside their comfort zone. This is an extremely commob food in the Mediterranean countires. All of Italian American places have breaded fish and pasta on the menu
