If criminal justice reform is the only black presidential campaign issue, we're truly fukked

How you think the civil rights movement started? Dudes came back from fighting in WW2 and got treated like Kings in Europe only to come home to not even being allowed to fukk white women in peace.

Of course those dudes are gonna rise up and contest the system.

The thing is, Black folks mentally are still operating like its 1960 while everyone else globally are preparing for who will run the world for the next 500 yrs since its looking like White Supremacy is on its last leg. Black folks are still on this symbolic stuff getting excited that a presidential candidate ate soul food while other groups are having these people address their specific issues. I have pretty much come to accept that Blacks as a majority are screwed, and at most there will be a "group" who work in the shadows i.e.. How the "Jews" "blended in" with "regular" whites, and used others to fight their battles to eventually get the power they have now. You go to the hood and Black folks walking around clueless while non white business men are right in their faces talking about how they plan on destroying their apartment complex to build a Mixed use development, while cats too busy fighting each other lol. Then you go to Black Burbs and you have blacks with good jobs who talk that respectability politics stuff, yet in these burbs they arent building anything then look crunchy when the economy tanks and all the big box retailers bounce now they are far away from all the jobs AND dont even have basic resources in their communities.

Blacks are minimized to Criminal Reform, welfare, and abortion. Nobody will ever talk about things related to generating wealth amongst blacks because that would offend the majority.

Did you see that Boyce Watkins thread when he started his crowd-funding site? The dude is a PhD Finance Professor at mainstream schools...and dudes like @No_bammer_weed were out here saying he's a bullshytter because of it.

Boils down to people not understanding Business, look at all the Tariq hate, or just black folks in general who are on that "this should be free" nonsense. At this point in the game its no need to argue with those types but only to identify them. These will be the cats who will be in threads talking "group economics" then when you say he lets all put 1k in a pot to start this investment group they then get on that , not because it isn't a good idea, but because they have nothing to contribute. Most of the big talkers dont have anything to contribute and arent at least working towards gaining something to contribute thus they want everyone to be broke and in the same position as them, this happens everywhere from the hood to the burbs.
