just looking at this thread you could see why so called black leaders supported stiffer sentences for crack vs powder in the 80's and the 90's crime bill. easily led astray once crime is involved. any black person today that supports shyt like this is just like those people in the 80's and 90's.

Yep

Thankfully/hopefully they did that so we don't have to go through that

I said the Chicago OG's should have reigned in these young street soilders when shyt started getting real heavy, but now generations could be potentially lost for Chicago brehs once the Feds step in. All that beef over turfs you didn't own and buy and build upon, will result in expressed gentrification by the government, state sponsored mass killings by cops, and guess who they'll continue to blame it all on in the eyes of the public...:mjpls:
They got locked up. Have you studied Chicago, it was a massive white supremacist experiment.

Roland Martin said the same shyt

So have countless Black folks that I know online and offline

But since The White Devil Reincarnate said it...this is now a big deal.

:comeon:
I'm tired of hearing this excuse as well..."bu bu but such and such black person said the same thing..."

It made no sense when they said it either, that's why it never came to fruition.

I'm amazed at how quick people absolve Chicago PD because they're "unequipped" or "lack personnel" to handle the issue yet half of America's police force is militarized.

The only policing the "Feds" should do in city municipality is of the local government and law enforcement, not the citizens.

I'm know a lot of them got locked up, but they still got a line into the streets. Just the lack of code being exhibited, too many shootings over dum shyt. I don't even think its about money, product with them dudes. I'm out west so I admittedly shouldn't speak on shyt I really can't see with my own eyes.

I posted this in TLR but its more fitting in here..just a lil history on gang violence.
-------------

Back when i was in college A few years ago, we had a seminar celebrating the founders of our African American Studies class, and one of the attendees there was a former Black P Stone who's now a district chief for the Chicago fire department. When the topic of gang violence was brought up, the fire chief told us about a meeting that took place back in 1968, with some white business owners from the south loop, and gang leaders of the Stones and Disciples to prevent rioting that was taking place due to MLK's assasination. He said they were told that if they didnt riot, specifically in the south loop region, then they would get paid for it( i forget the exact amount but it was a few million supposedly), so they didn't riot, and they got paid, but the beef began over how the money was split, and a serious gang war ensued because of it.

------

it makes sense as well because it was a noticeable increase in homicides here after 1968.

Rival gangs there got moved into the same areas after their projects got gentrified, that's why it's so hot there:ld:

It, in the most literal sense, is white people, politicians, and corporations fault:ld:

That's how I feel. I can't really comment on Chicago, no more than I can comment on how gangs move in the bay, wit me being from LA. There's some universal concepts to the structure of gangs and how the operate, but every city has it's own little variants, which make no sense to outsiders, looking in.
