Jordan didn't need to because his team already had the biggest talent advantage in the NBA. The amount of expansion teams in the NBA at the time diluted the league. For example, some of his fiercest opponents were teams like the Pacers and Knicks-- two teams with one "superstar" who were probably better served being a second option. His best finals opponent on paper might be the 1998 Jazz and not only did the Bulls have the better duo but they also had the better support players in Kukoc, Rodman, and Longley. Jordan's finals opponents weren't the caliber of a 2014 Spurs or the 2016-2018 Warriors. He always had more horses than every team he faced.

Pippen scoring 17 points a game = Having the biggest talent advantage to LeBron stans :dead:

It couldn’t possibly be because Jordan was averaging 30 points a game :dead:

Pippen was a 20 point scorer in the 1990s and the best defensive wing in the NBA. He finished 3rd in MVP voting in 1994, 7th in 1995 and 5th in 1996, was the 8th best scorer in the league in 1994, made All-NBA first team twice, All-NBA second team thrice, and All-NBA third team twice. The one full year he played without Jordan his team damn near won 60 games, he was an MVP candidate and he was a game 7 away from beating the team that won the East (all this without the Bulls filling the hole Jordan left at shooting guard with an adequate offensive player).

Pippen bailed out Jordan countless times in the playoffs but let Jordan stans tell it he was nothing more than a 17 point scorer :mjlol:

Pippen averaged 18-20 points most seasons. Stop trying to make him better than what he was :mjlol: His career average is 16ppg :mjlol: He averaged 15 points in the 1996 Finals and 15 points again in the 1998 Finals :mjlol: The other Finals he hovered between 19 to 21 points. Kyrie scored 40 points in a Finals game. Pippen never had one monster game like that.....and he played in 6 Finals :mjlol: He was a Luigi ass nikka. Bron would be crying if his second best player only put up 15 points :mjlol:

If Bron gets 7 championships >

If he 3 peats

Right now he’s in the conversation his accolades are different from Jordan’s

Jordan being 6-0 never takes into account he lost in the playoffs many times

Unless Jordan was perfect in every year as a bull then Lebron’s final losses shouldn’t count against him, Dallas was pretty bad though.

PPG is a simplistic way of analyzing the game but his career average is misleading because of the last six seasons of his career. His PPG in the 1990s-- during the Bulls dynasty-- was 20 PPG. It's funny you mentioned the 1996 finals.. Pippen and Rodman were imperative in preventing that series from going seven. Both outplayed Jordan in the closeout game of the series-- Pippen went 7/17 with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals while Jordan went 5/19 with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 turnovers.

Lebron has had a co-star average under 20 PPG in the finals numerous times and none of those players were providing the defensive and playmaking value that Pippen did. Hell, Wade averaged 15 PPG in the 2014 finals but nikkas wanna act like Bron was playing with prime Wade during those Heatles years.

Is the only thing you look at points when judging a player? Defense? Playmaking? Passing, rebounding? Iq? Versatility? Etc

Some already do

For me he's not passing Jordan until he has a 3 peat

Or 6 rings

Or both which is possible if he wins the next 2

Which I think he should

I could say right now he's tied with Kareem for#2
And just passed Kobe

Jordan could've won 8 straight so he needs to at least tie Jordan in Championships IMO

It's only meant to take in account what he did on the biggest stage, that's why its held up as the gold standard to this day.
