If they blew that, it would never have been a question that they were all-time playoff chokers.
I mentioned it in passing but it was kind of buried in the middle of all their playoff losses.
Stockton/Malone lost in the first round 9 times and it was usually to a lower seed.
Lost to a 1-seed (2002)
Lost to a 2-seed (2003)
Lost to a 3-seed (1993)
Lost to a 4-seed (1986)
Lost to a 5-seed three different times (1987, 1990, 2001)
Lost to a 6-seed (1995)
Lost to a 7-seed (1989)
Losing to an 8-seed in 1994 would have completed the cypher.....not that it was the first round but close enough.
