I think I'm safe . My department got ahead of it and started demanding more responsibility. We hated it at the time and still do because its more responsibility for the same pay. But other departments were left with not being able to justify it's staffing and they got the cut. Operations is getting automated right now so it's a matter of time when those jobs will start getting cut off. It will be interesting times to see where everything will be in 10 years
