Not really. It's just a bad market. There are ebbs and flows in the market. This is the 2008 of developers. Tech bros are a lot like finance bros in the sense that we are compensated highly in good times, because of the instability of bad times.Soooo is it really over for web developers??
I’m still in school but if it seems like it’s a done deal and AI is gonna take over, I’m dropping out
Not tryna finish this shyt just to come out to no jobs or shytty pay smh
If AI takes my job I’m pretty screwed cause I don’t think I could make the same amount of $$ I do, with something else
My skills are pretty limited to my job title. I suppose something in aviation, but if AI is somehow taken over my career then I assume it’s pretty much everywhere and we’re all screwed
Yeah that’s me.are you the dud who previously mentioned something about air traffic control?
Yeah that’s me.
I’d assume that if AI takes my job it’s so advanced that people are comfortable putting their lives in the hands of it, and doctors/healthcare personnel/pilots, etc would all be screwed too
once claude can read a full codebase integrated into your IDE, it is wrap. I don't even know how a junior developer can get a job now. Must be daunting for them.Once Claude increases its context window its a wrrrrrrrrrap
AI going to make cartoonist life easier. Instead of them having to draw each individual image, they can just give it a series of start images and end images and the AI will fill in the blanks. Preserving the art style. Also for Fan fiction... all these comics without an animation, AI could potentially scan the comic and make an animation. Justice League Unlimited type shows in mere minutesI ain't worried because A.i can't do Jack shyt in the nursing field ...what, AI is gonna care for patients?
But my passion is Art/Cartoons n shyt...we might be cooked on that in a few years...
Or not....AI can't make shyt consistent
