me personally i dont respect actresses that have no nudity clauses because it automatically puts them in a bubble and shows there not really about there craft....plus most of the chicks with non nudity clauses usually have mediocre filmographies tbh

My boy said the same thing about not caring about the craft but of course he was being an ass when he said it and since you aren't lol I see what you're saying but I don't agree. I think you can be serious about acting but still pick and choose what you want to do as long as it speaks to you. You gotta have a connection to the character

i can understand that but that usually results in a mediocre film or the woman is just the attraction in the film and really nothing more...having that clause keeps actresses in that kind of box and imo they deserve to be there...chicks like anna kendrick will forever be the minor female character in films or the witty chick because she has put herself in a bubble she's cool with...the only nude clause female imo with some decent movies under her belt is julia roberts but thats almost solely because of her male co-stars and even she got put into the rom com bubble after awhile

I disagree. It's not always like that but I see what you're saying. I'm in the middle of a family discussion so I can't dispute yet

honestly I think it may depend on the types of roles she is willing to go for. In JLH case, she always seemed to take the "good girl" roles so of course she never went topless......and we dont even know if that was ever an option in JLH case, cause she doesnt seem to be working any movies that are R rated that I can think of.(outside of her "I Know...." movies, but she was like 20 when she filmed those, and still had to keep an image because of party of 5 at the time)

to me, she is a very good actress (her Law and Order SVU episode is tremendous) and to answer the question, its probably something she never wanted to do, or be known for. I dont think it hurt her career tho, as she has that TV show now and has always gotten roles, she just never got to the "IT" girl status in hollywood that Jennifer Lawrence is now(who coincidentally has never been topless in a movie)

The only "problem" (if you can call it that) is when there's a sex scene but the woman is nude but you can't see anything. If you aren't going to show anything, then why have the sex scene in there? I'm not saying that it has to be very graphic or anything but there should be a little nudity when it's essential to the scene/story.

I also hate it when the strippers have don't wear thongs or revealing underwear. Some of these actresses be stripping on stage with boy shorts or granny panties on. That Kravitz girl was damn near fully clothed as a stripper on X-Men: First Class.
